Supply Chain Attack

A supply chain attack is an attack in which the attacker does not directly target an organization but instead exploits a weak link in the chain, such as a supplier, software update, or third party. By compromising this intermediary, the attacker can ultimately gain access to the target. This makes this type of attack often difficult to detect.
