A bug bounty program is an arrangement in which organizations reward ethical hackers for finding and reporting security vulnerabilities in their systems or software. Researchers receive a reward (such as money or recognition) depending on the severity of the vulnerability. This helps organizations improve their security before attackers can exploit weaknesses.
