Chief Operational Security Officer (COSO) is de equivalent van de Chief Information Security Officer binnen een operationele productie omgeving.

Het is daarnaast ook een managementmodel dat is ontwikkeld door Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO).
