VPN

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) establishes encrypted communications (a tunnel) between the computer that runs the VPN client and the devices it communicates with. VPNs keep data in transit secure when a device is connected to public, unsecured WiFi, such as at hotels and coffee shops. VPNs also keep data secure for remote employees connecting to in-office systems.
